JANET SHIH – Chairlady of Ricacorp Properties and Centaline Subsidiaries
Graduated from Cambridge University with first-class honours, Janet worked in the Investment Department of Savills where she focused on en-bloc assets acquisition and large-scale investment property transactions. Janet joined the Centaline Group in 2012 and participated in different scopes of operations including real estate brokerage and finance in China and Hong Kong. She acted as Deputy General Manager of an agency subsidiary of the Group in Shanghai, focusing on enhancing sales and operational performance. Later Janet returned to Hong Kong to be the Director of Centaline Group and have managed a number of subsidiaries including Centaline Investment Management, Centaline Investment Advisory, Centaline Financial Group, Centaline Finance, Centaline Mortgage Broker and Ricacorp since then.

KAVIS IP – Principal & CEO
As one of the founding members of Centaline Investment Management and Centaline Investment Advisory, Kavis has been an innovative pioneer in student housing investment in Hong Kong. She has extensive real estate experience and been directly involved in real estate project acquisitions and management in China, Hong Kong, the US and the UK. Before managing the Centaline student housing portfolio, Kavis has spent over 15 years in Centaline Financial Group and worked together with HNWIs in Hong Kong and Mainland China to build their investment portfolio. Kavis and her team have managed over billions throughout the years. As an inventive manager, tempered by her hands-on experience in student housing investment, Kavis was invited to be speaker of several industry conferences to share her experience in working with Asian investors. She was also an assistant professor at HKUSPACE in Corporate Governance.
Kavis received her M.A. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

JOSEPHINE KONG – Chief Investment Officer & Managing Director
With over 15 years in project management and investment management, Josephine is another founding member of Centaline Investment Management and Centaline Investment Advisory. She has been working as investment consultant for corporate clients, family offices and private investors in Hong Kong and China on global real estate investment for years. With her extensive experiences in the industry, Josephine has been working on originating deals, formulating investment plans and executing investment plans over properties in the US, the UK. China, Thailand, New Zealand, Greece, Portugal etc. Additionally, she also has proven track record on doing syndication and investment structuring on property investments. As CIO of Centaline Investment, She has actively involved in the set up and management of Centaline US Student Housing Fund I.
Josephine received her B.SocSc degree and her MPhil degree from the University of Hong Kong. She also studied in the University of London for her M.A. in Occupational Psychology.

SAM LIU – Acquisition Officer
Sam is CFA charter holder and one of the members of acquisition and financial analysis team of Centaline Investment. His experience covers various stages of real estate acquisitions including market research, data analysis, financial modeling, project review and terms negotiation. He also works closely with Chief Investment Officer to locate and underwrite various real estate investment opportunities.
Sam graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University with B. of Accounting and received his M.Sc. in Real Estate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
